Germany, Luftwaffe. A Summer Flight Suit Archive the obverse with a machine-embroidered(Luftwaffe Fliegerschutzanzug). A very well preserved Luftwaffe summer flight suit, constructed of a light olive drab cotton blend with a gentle herringbone twill (HBT) weave. It features a turned down collar and triple frontal zipper arrangement to allow the wearer to step in and out of the garment, with the lower zipper functioning as a fly. The cuff of each sleeve has a functional zipper fastening closed with an integral strap retaining a snap
