An interesting trench art U Boat model constructed by a German prisoner of war (POW) in Allied custody, constructed of wood with a faithful dark grey paint scheme, with tower, pericopes, and swivel deck guns, in addition two original spinning propellers, bearing hand painted dedications of 589 (a Type VIIC vessel which carried out seven patrols and sank one ship for 417 gross register tons before being sunk by Royal Navy
